Holi, the festival of colours, is celebrated predominantly by Hindu's on the last full moon in the lunar month of Phalguna. This year it is on the 8th March, with celebrations starting the evening before.
It marks the end of Winter and beginning of Spring.
Lasting two days, on day one you can expect to see bonfires while on day two you can expect to see lots of people covered in colour - and not just children but adults too!
See below to learn more about it and also some links to the BBC where there is a photo gallery of some of the celebrations happening this year.
There are also activities here and a quiz can be found here.
Complete the quiz by Wednesday 15th March to receive a little present.
